Yesterday my mom and I (and Hailee) planned a trip to Billings. I had some major shopping on the agenda. I also had to take my ring in to have it looked at. The other day I noticed a really bad catch in it by the diamond. So, that same day while I was sitting in the car waiting for Craig I pushed on it a little...it slide. That freaked me out, so I immediately went inside and took it off. It is under warranty because I have been really good about taking it in once every six months to have it checked and cleaned. In fact, I just had it in there in Feb. We get to Billings and go to the mall first in case it takes them a while. I give them my ring and the two ladies study it for a minute. They figure out on of the "slide things" on the side is worn and the gold smith is going to have to fix it. Then, she tells me I am going to have to pay for it!! I was like, "well, isn't it under warranty?" She tells me no, the warranty doesn't cover that. So I asked her what would have happened if I had lost the diamond? They would have replaced it just because it was checked in Feb., but I still would have had to pay the $60 or more when they replaced the diamond to fix the setting. I thought it was little ridiculous and paid the money. I had better not happen again, if I have to pay for something else like that, I might be even more unhappy!
Anyway, it was a long day in Billings, and I spent too much money, but I am glad that I got all of that shopping out of that way. I suppose that is what happens when you put it off for so long :) We were in Billings until 5:30 waiting for them to finish with my ring and we had left Lovell at 9:00... so it was a super long day! We're glad it is over, Hailee especially, she was really good but definitely ready to be done by the end of the day.

post...
I realize it has been a long time since I have posted anything. It must be a combination of not having time and the fact that there hasn't been a whole lot of exciting things going on. We spent most of the week before Easter helping Becca move. I am glad it was her an not me. I was exhausted after a few days, I can't even imagine how she felt being 7 months pregnant!! I moved when I was 8 1/2 months, but Mom and Becca pretty much moved me while I was at work, bless their hearts! Anyway, she is officially all moved and we got the house here in Lovell cleaned last week, so I am sure she is relieved to be done with that part. I don't envy her for having to put everything else away now... It's hard to help do that.
Easter was a lot of fun. Saturday we went to my aunt Terrin's for an Easter egg hunt and picnic. Hailee mostly just enjoyed being outside, ALL DAY! She found a few eggs and ate the treats out of them. Like I said, the highlight of the whole weekend for her was getting to be outside in the nice weather. Sunday morning she ate way too much candy before we went to conference. After conference we had a yummy dinner at Dave & Suz's. I do have a few pictures, but they are on Becca's camera. I'll have to get a hold of them and post a few one of these days.
Well, that is our story for the past few weeks. Hope everyone else is doing well. We are LOVING the nice weather and intend to enjoy it all week!

She did it again!
I am seriously starting to wonder about my child! She is quite the climber. We have a little stool that goes in the bathroom and she has figured out how to haul it to wherever she needs to get to. She has also figured out that she likes to play in the water at the bathroom sink, and the stool makes her just the right height to do so. While I was hurrying to get ready to go to Burlington for a hair cut the other day I made the mistake of leaving her in the bathroom. Well, she figured out she could get onto the back of the bathtub. I have to put the soap up so she can't get it, she has a strange fascination with it. Anyway, by the time I got back this is what I found...
and it was too late to retrieve any, she had already chewed it up and swallowed it. Now, if that isn't gross I don't know what is! I guess the threat of washing her mouth out with soap when she gets older probably won't work!
Breanne was over to play a couple of weeks ago. She decided that she wanted to play dress up, so she picked out a dress for herself and one for Hailee. Hailee wasn't quite sure why we were putting dresses on... They are becoming pretty good friends! Even though they get into fights every once in a while we are making progress.
Hailee will NOT let me take her picture lately! She thinks she has to come sit on my lap, so I have to attempt to take her picture while she sits on my lap. We are finally getting some hair, I have hope anyway. She is still pretty bald in the front, but it seems to be filling in all of the time.
We haven't been up to a whole lot lately, just the same old. We are gearing up for a sad day sometime next week. We will be helping Becca move over to Burlington. It will be different not having them here in town. I am just glad they aren't moving far!

Milestones...
Well we finally did it... we left Hailee overnight at my Mom's house. In her 16 months of life, we haven't been away from her overnight, so it was a new experience. We went to dinner last night over in Greybull for my uncle Rudy and Eric's birthdays. When we were all finished with dinner Hailee wanted nothing to do with Craig or I, she only wanted Becca; so, we loaded her car seat in their suburban and she went home with them. (Becca and Eric have been staying at my Mom's too so Erica doesn't have to drive everyday) Anyway, Craig made me call first thing this morning to see how it went. Mom said she did good, only whined a couple of times during the night. We might have to do this more often :) I was worried I wouldn't be able to sleep, but I slept pretty well. Anyway, I am headed over to Burlington to get her and hang out for the day.

In and Out...
I have just spent the day recovering from the weekend. We spent most of it in Worland watching basketball. It was really fun, but so easy to loose control of things at home when you are only home to sleep! We went over Thursday afternoon as soon as Craig got home from work. The girls played at 4:00, we missed most of that game and the boys played at 5:30 so we got there in time for that. It was a great game. We turned around and headed back the next morning at around 11:00 since the girls played at 12:30. The boys didn't play until 8:30 and we planned on just hanging out until then. Suz saved us and took Hailee home with her at around 3:00... there is no way she would have lasted! Needless to say we didn't get home until late. The girls played at 8:30 the next morning, but we opted to stay home and watch on tv since the boys didn't play until 8:30 that night. The girls played a great game and won, so we headed down later in the afternoon to watch them at 4:00. Suz saved us again and took Hailee home after the girls game. Craig and I went and grabbed some dinner in between the girl's and boy's game.
It was really nice and lots of fun to watch all of the basketball!! However, by this morning my house looked like a bomb went off! Saturday before we left I was able to get all of the laundry done that was there, thank goodness, but still managed to have 3 loads ready for me today. And, I don't know why it is, but Hailee usually makes a huge mess on Sunday. It must be because we usually just try to relax and she gets bored or something. I feel like I am somewhat caught up though. I even made some banana muffins and watched Becca's kids all afternoon... not too bad. Now, we are just gearing up for the weekend in Casper. We have loved watching the teams this year, and it will be a nice weekend out of Lovell!

Gross!
As part of our daily routine I put Hailee in the bath tub after I shower, and she plays while I start my makeup and dry my hair. She normally doesn't get into to much trouble and I am right there so ya. Well, this morning after I got done drying my hair I turned around and noticed that she had the soap dish, wonderful. Well, as I was trying to find the bar of soap I notice she has something in her mouth... She had a chunk of soap in there and was totally munching on it! I just cringed and wanted to barf for her! She seemed to enjoy it, strange child!! She likes to taste her lotion on occasion, but soap?!

Smarty Pants
Being a Mom never ceases to amaze me. Hailee learns so much every day. It just seems like she isn't even a baby anymore. She does so many new things everyday, figures out how to climb on a new piece of furniture, says a new word... Well, while I am sitting here wasting time on the computer I ususally turn on the tv to the disney channel or nickelodeon. She doesn't pay a whole lot of attention, but I figure it won't hurt her. They seem to have some pretty age appropriate things on at this time of the morning. Anyway, just this morning as I was sitting here "Go, Diego, Go" came on and she was standing in there saying Diego, Diego... I guess I just thought she didn't pay any attention.
